In the queer community, so many are rejected by their family. Some are thrown out on the streets, while others are shunned into disparity. While not all queer folks share this experience, the 2SLGBTQ+ community stands in solidarity for those who do.

Every Mother’s Day (since 2024), I work with a drag family to capture the quirky, fun, delightful and marvellous interactions of mother and child(ren) to highlight the unique and beautiful nature of chosen family. This series explores the relationships between drag parents and their protégés during moments of mentorship.
