Martin Bryan at an apple orchard

Who am I?

Martin Bryan is a Toronto-based photographer who first discovered his craft in late 2018 while visiting his home province of Newfoundland. Martin’s work has since then evolved into editorial portraiture where he combines his passion for art and decades of photo editing with his unique ability to capture his subject’s most vulnerable moments.

As a community health worker with a background in psychology, his interests in culture, science, animals, social justice, and politics often intersect in an approach to inform and dissect the often mundane but complex systems of our everyday lives.

In his off-time, Martin volunteers extensively within his community as a committee member at Ralph Thornton Community Centre and has supported other organizations such as the Toronto Distress Centre, Rainbow Railroad, Toronto PWA Foundation, Childhood Cancer Survivor Canada, and more.
